Namespaces

namespace  convergence
 The convergence FUs combine functions to access the next lower module, the OFDM physical layer, with IEEE 802.11 specific functionality like channel state detection.
namespace  draftn
 FUs in this namespace allow to enhance wifimac::lowerMAC with functions from the ammendment "n" for high throughput.
namespace  helper
 Classes in wifimac::helper provide functions that do not fit directly into one of the other namespaces, e.g. for sorting probe output.
namespace  lowerMAC
 The lower MAC represents the data link layer in every IEEE 802.11 transceiver of the WiFiMAC. In here, the neccessary functional units for the operation of the IEEE 802.11 MAC can be found.
namespace  management
 The management part of the WiFiMAC has two responsibilities:
  • Provide FUs for the management plane, e.g. beacon transmission
  • Provide information bases to be accessed by other FUs, e.g. for packet error rate statistics.

namespace  pathselection
 The path selection allows to setup a self-configurating mesh network according to IEEE 802.11s.
